This depends on your individual insurance policy and the type of water damage impacting your property. You should consult your policy or agent for specific details regarding your coverage. If the water damage loss is covered, Duraclean will work with your insurance company to make the claims process as hassle-free as possible.

For plumbing emergencies,  shut off the water and call a plumber to help fix the problem. For flood and weather-related events, call Duraclean to ensure the damage is mitigated as soon as possible.

Try to avoid entering the affected area as much as possible to prevent possible damage or contamination. We can assist with removing or recovering items in the area after we arrive.

Keep windows and doors closed, and follow the instructions our on-site technicians give you for the best results.

It depends on the extent of the damage and your tolerance for noise and disruption during the restoration process. During the drying process, fans, dehumidifers, and other equipment will need to run continiously until the area is dry. 

Your insurance policy may include coverage for  “Additional Living Expenses” and/or “Loss of Use” if you are unable to remain in your property during the restoration process. A representative from your insurance will be able to answer any of your further questions. 

Each situation is different so we cannot give an estimate of how long it will take to dry your property after a water loss. Various factors including the moisture content of building materials, the extent of the damage, and the relative humidity and temperature can all affect drying times.
